Lori was destined for a career in design; she was constantly sketching her “ideal” playgrounds and baseball parks as a child. A mechanical drawing class in high school changed her landscape architecture focus to buildings. A graduate of Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning, Lori says the most important part of building design is the people within. “I try to imagine how the building functions for each occupant, from the CEO to the public to the cleaning staff. A successful building design enhances everyone’s day.” Her favorite K2M core value is Be Good. She believes it’s such a simple concept that so many companies overlook, but is essential to building and maintaining relationships.
