This one-of-a-kind ultra-luxury resort community is being developed at the southern tip of the island of Abaco in the Bahamas where K2M Design is serving as the lead architect and engineer.

In April, Habacoa gathered a team of some of the world’s leading architects and engineers for the first Habacoa Design Charrette!

The gathering was a melting pot of creative minds, where groundbreaking ideas and innovative concepts permeated the room. A journey of detailed design and planning commenced. The collective expertise of the team was put to use in meticulously analyzing every aspect, aiming to create a masterpiece that would leave a lasting impact on the marina world and beyond. The passion and enthusiasm in the room were palpable as progress was made toward finalizing a master plan for the site, which will serve as the foundation for the rest of the design process.

The Habacoa Design Charrette not only solidified the commitment to this remarkable project but also reinforced the shared vision of transforming spaces into experiences. With a clear focus on enhancing functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics, the group explored innovative materials, cutting-edge technologies, and advanced construction methodologies.
