Amy Karnes got into the industry by answering an ad for an office manager/marketing assistant at a small architecture firm. After a few months, she began working on proposals and pursuits, which sparked her passion for the industry. She joined SMPS and grew from there, working in several architecture and engineering firms, both large and small. Amy has a real love for the built environment, and working in marketing allows her to be part of creating and contributing to the fabric of communities.
