Cory’s senior design project in college led him into the green energy sector. Cory learned a lot about producing energy from waste heat through an organic rankine cycle. This fueled his passion for sustainability. After a former employer folded and he fell into the MEP industry where he learned the ins and outs of commercial building systems, as well as a project and team management. Cory found himself more interested in the sustainability building code and LEED certifications than most other engineers and decided to shift his career away from design and more toward energy use and consumption analysis.
Cory is most excited about being able to learn as much as possible about ECMs and sustainability, and translate that into understandable terms to clients as part of the learn and lead core value. He is also very excited to start developing good relationships with those clients as well as his teammates in Specialty Services.
