Robinson started his career in the electrical field when he saw a friend on Facebook asking if anyone knew someone who wanted to be an electrical apprentice. He had been in the medical field for three years and felt like he needed a change. So, he responded to the post and began his journey as an apprentice electrician. After a year of doing residential work, he moved to the commercial side of the trade. Robinson received his journeyman electrician’s license and then applied for an electrical designer position at an engineering firm.

He found his passion for the trade by gaining firsthand experience installing electrical systems and feeling proud of the work he did. Going into a building or restaurant he wired filled him with pride. Now, with designing, he gets to see what he designed come to life.

Robinson joined K2M because it offers a new experience and a new skill set to further his knowledge of the electrical field. The core value that speaks to him is Learn & Lead. He enjoys learning and sharing the knowledge he has acquired because they are a team, and if everyone grows and learns, it helps them all be better.
